Inserting Pictures into Articles
Inserting pictures is much like inserting a link to a file. The only trick to pictures is that they should be sized properly and optimized for website use before you upload the file to the site.
The maximum width for pictures in news articles is 225px. They can be almost any length, but generally somewhere between 200px-300px would look the best.
In the following news article, I want a picture to be located in the first paragraph. I have edited the picture on my computer to be the right size and saved it in a web-optimized format. I will need to upload the picture as I go.
First, I place my cursor at the end of this paragraph in the Content box. Then I will click the Picture icon in the toolbar.

Just like when we upload a file, we will now browse to the folder on the server where we want our new picture to be saved.

Now that we are in the "sitepics" directory, I will upload my picture. If you need to categorize your files further with new directories, do that first and then upload.
I click Browse, find the picture on my computer, click Open, and then click the Upload button as below.

Once it has uploaded, I click on the picture title to select it.

Now we get fancy. :)
You'll see the following window: Click on the Appearance tab.

You'll notice that the size of the picture will be filled in here for you. The next thing you must do is to choose how your picture will look in the article. Do you want it on the left side or the right side of the paragraph? Go down to Class and use the drop-down menu to pick which look you want. "Snap" simply means that it will look like a snapshot once it's on the site. I'm going to choose "snapright" so that it floats over to the right side of the paragraph I'm inserting it into.

The last thing to do is to add a Title and Description to your picture. Just copy whatever you put in the Title and paste it into the Description as below. Then click Insert.

Now you will see this:

Check the article on the site (if you have saved it) and it looks like this:

In this case, I think I'll go back and insert that picture somewhere else so it looks a bit better. You can edit the article and simply drag the picture around. Watch the cursor so you know where it will go, then click Apply and check the page again (if you use a new tab, it makes it easy). Now I have this:

And if I change the Class to "snapleft", it looks like this:

That's all you need to know for pictures! Don't forget to save your page as you work.
